To better identify its sports policy, the city of Saint-Brieuc wanted to illustrate its actions through a visual that could be adapted to all its sports communication materials.
The visual needs to showcase the accessibility of a city seen as "a playground for all" and its playful value, while adapting to all types of sports, whether team or individual, outdoor or indoor.
The Sports Space
The markings on sports fields are a true source of graphic inspiration. Expressive, the lines constitute a visual grammar that will serve as a support for constructing a new interpretation of sports in the city.
An Imaginary Sports Field
"Free to invent": the city's new sports policy slogan invites all to reinvent. The graphic proposal follows this impetus, articulating itself around a reinvented sports space. The visual overlays, mixes, and associates graphic forms from the markings of different sports disciplines.
The composition thus proposes a playful and joyful dialogue of practices, leaving room for diverse readings and interpretations. Everyone can identify the sport of their choice.
Multiple Graphic Combinations
The illustration is designed as a series and is infinitely adaptable to all types of formats and materials. It offers the possibility of producing several posters with different fragments of the initial visual design. Textual information is inserted into white blocks affixed to the visual. Suitable for institutional communication, the geometric sans serif typeface expresses lightness and dynamism.
